Panama is a small country, but it has an extraordinary range of lifestyles. Choosing where to live is very much a question of comfort and convenience. If you're not comfortable with the heat, you'll want to consider the highlands; if you want easy shopping, hospitals and proximity to an international airport, it really is Panama City and environs.

What works for one person isn't necessarily best for another, so we believe you need to experience Panama, its different regions and its climates yourself.
